Because You Loved Me..

I heard this song the first time when I was in school and was going through a tough phase in life. I was 16 year old rebellious teenager then. I was in a slight depression since my sister got married and moved out to live with her husband and she meant the world to me.
She was there with me through thick and thin. There was nothing under the sun that I could hide from her. From my deepest feelings of gratitude to my worst fears, she knew it all. I could not bear the thought of not living with her. She gave me the confidence when I had fights with my friends or I was bullied by other kids in school. She made me believe that I AM and I CAN. She made me see the world the way I see it today.
My favourite lines in this song are:
“You gave me wings and made me fly
You touched my hand I could touch the sky
I lost my faith, you gave it back to me
You said no star was out of reach”
My parents and my sister, they were the ones who always believed and had faith in me, no matter how pathetic I felt about myself. I will be forever grateful to them to make me the person that I am today. The reason I could reach out to stars in my life is because they believed that I could.
